Six tourist cluster that is currently being developed by the Central Java provincial government is reclaiming-Baturaden, Borobudur-Dieng, Solo-Sangiran, Tegal-Pekalongan, Semarang-Karimunjawa, and Apex-Blora.
According to him, each cluster has a distinct uniqueness that can certainly draw the attention of travel enthusiasts. Several types of tours are offered from among religious tourism, shopping, and historical tours.
"If in fact nationally Central Java is one of the provinces that much appreciated by the public, even some tourist destinations in Central Java entered the national cluster," he said.
Four national tourist cluster contained tourist destinations in Central Java, namely Borobudur Yogyakarta, Semarang-Publications, Solo-Sangiran, and reclaiming-Pangandaran.
Meanwhile, some efforts to develop the tourist destination among developing local cultural attractions, through the presence of the leading tourist village, and the development potential of MICE especially Semarang, Solo, Magelang, and Navan.
"We also strive to immediately realize the development of tourism in Central Java Park," he said.
Through a variety of the development, it targets the number of local tourists this year reached 29,218,463 visitors and foreign tourists reached 400 thousand visitors.
Earlier, during the period from January to November last year the number of foreign tourists reached 408 616 visitors to the predictions by the end of the year reached 420 119 visitors, while the number of local tourists for the same period reached 23,106,818 with a prediction realization until the end of the year reached 27.85 million.
