Mahakam in Tenggarong bridge collapse



Kukar bridge about 720 meters along the Kutai regency that crosses the Mahakam River, East Kalimantan, on Saturdayafternoon, collapsing.

Based on information compiled, there are a number of peopleand vehicles across the bridge when it collapsed, but until now not known whether there are casualties in the incident.

Kukar bridge is a bridge crossing over the river Mahakam. Freespan, or a dependent without a buffer area reaches a total length of 270 meters from the bridge about 710 meters.

The bridge is a means of liaison between the district TenggarongSeberang, Tenggarong, Kutai regency, East Kalimantan Province. The bridge was built to resemble the form of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, United States.
