Bola.net - PSSI chairman, Djohar Arifin revealed that the fusion clubs Indonesia Super League (ISL) and the Premier League Indonesia (LPI) starts from the city of Medan.
"Today's declaration of incorporation of the entire club to club LPI-ISL as well as First Division clubs," said Djohar.
"It started with the merger with PSMS Medan Stars. His name when the competition will remain PSMS Medan," he said.
Added Djohar, after the merger, the clubs must immediately complete the five requirements demanded by the AFC and FIFA.
There were five requirements that include the legal status of the government, and funds became the sole responsibility of the consortium.
The third requirement is infrastructure. That is, the Mayor as Chairman of the PSMS Medan will improve the stadium example to fit the requirements set
The fourth requirement, have to provide guidance to the young soccer players and the last related organizations.
"For this organization the mayor has expressed its readiness to reorganize the organization and responsible with PSMS activities," explained Djohar.
Djohar hope, what is done by Star PSMS Medan and can be followed by other clubs, in order to follow the professional competition.
"Sincerity Medan Star deserves our respect, as well as a consortium of LPI, we salute them. And they expressed readiness to assist the teams in Indonesia, both derived from the former ISL and the First Division," he explained.
Meanwhile, Rahudman Harahap as Chairman of the PSMS, said he would soon form a consortium to address the funding. "Today made 'illegitimate contract' in front of the PSSI chairman and witnessed the consortia LPI. This is the first in Indonesia, will follow with LPI clubs that exist in other cities," said Rahudman.
