Net ball - Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher signed a contract extension for 4 years which will make it survive with the Red Devils until the end of the 2014-2015 season.
Scotland national team captain has been a central figure in United's midfield in the last few seasons, has performed as many as 288 times and scored 21 goals throughout his career with United since March 2003.
United manager Sir Alex Ferguson welcomed the extension of the contract Fletcher.
"Darren has been at the club since the age of 15 years, I am proud that he was willing to sign a new contract," said the coach.
"He has developed into a top midfielder," he added.
Fletcher participated won three Premier League titles achieved by United, FA Cup, two League Cup, Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup as long as he joined United.
"I am very proud to play at Manchester United," said Fletcher.
"I've come to win some trophies in the years I played here and I'm waiting to be able to participate to win again this season," he said.
