LONDON, KOMPAS.com - Chelsea goalkeeper, Petr Cech, finally spoke after his team lost 0-1 to Liverpool at the weekend. According to him, goals scored by Raul Meireles in the 69th minute purely because of his mistake.
"I obviously made a mistake. No need to say anymore about it," said Cech to iDNES.
Liverpool goal came from Steven Gerrard's cross from the left side of the Chelsea defense. The ball was met Dirk Kuyt and Cech tried to cut it, but miscalculated.
Kuyt was also failed to cut the bait. It actually makes Cech fooled. In the meantime, the ball is released and then welcomed into the winning goal Liverpool Meireles.
"I think Kuyt will grab the ball into the near post. I want to get out so they can act. However, Kuyt loses the ball. It happened so fast and I had no chance. It was clearly my fault," he admitted.
